“I live with my mother because my parents are separated and my father is staying far away from us. I am the 1st born of my parent and a student at Wolex University Ibadan this puts a lot of responsibility on me. I have always discuss with my mother on the need to broaden my scope of knowledge and that am interested in being a caterer to empower myself and not be liability to my mother . Due to financial constraint I was unable to start any form of training to actualize the goal. My mum got to know about this program and took the form for me. “I am a native of Kongi state and the first born of two children, I passed out with 1st class upper from federal college of statistics Ibadan. “ Am the third in a family of 5, my parents are late. I have an NCE certificate in English language and special rehabilitation study. I am a single mother with a four year old son. The vocational skill will add value to me, in other ways it can also make me self-employed, and it can also help me to create job opportunities for others. Lastly it will enable me as the project coordinator with the Hope Foundation to become a Trainer in future through getting a better insight of the courses and I can then pass out the knowledge to other incoming trainees which will be a great plus to my work here.
